DREAM Charter School · The Power of Place
DREAM Charter school is an unbelievable school in East Harlem, New York — the poorest congressional district in the entire nation — but it’s much more than a school. Not only does it graduate 98% of its primarily Black and brown students from East Harlem and the Bronx, it’s become powerful place for its students, community and all that have been impacted by its goal of empowering all children to recognize their potential and realize their dreams.
We created this film for DREAM’s annual fundraising gala that highlights the progress DREAM and its family of supporters have made over three decades but also reinforces that the work is still not done.
